REG105 - Drug Use and the Workplace (0.5 HR)

 

Purpose: The healthcare employee will enhance his/her recognition of alcohol and other drug (substance) abuse in the workplace setting. Objectives: 1. List and discuss problems that can occur in the workplace as a result of a substance-impaired employee; 2. Discuss testing for drug/alcohol use; 3. Identify signs of drug/alcohol abuse; 4. Discuss responsibilities of the co-worker in reporting inappropriate behavior that may result from substance abuse in the workplace.
