NUR172 - Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (1.0 HR)

Purpose: To better understand fetal alcohol spectrum disorders - how to recognize the signs and symptoms and how to prevent them. Objectives: 1. Discuss fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASDs); 2. Describe characteristics children may exhibit with FASDs; 3. Discuss prevention measures; 4. Explore secondary conditions associated with FASDs; 5. Identify protective factors that may reduce secondary conditions associated with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS); 6.
