NUR131 - Poisoning in Children and Adults (1.0 HR)

Purpose: To enhance the participant's understanding of poisoning in children and adults. Objectives: 1. Differentiate between a poisoning, a poisoning exposure, unintentional poisonings and intentional poisonings; 2. Identify the four forms of poison; 3. Discuss first aid for poisoning; 4. Identify ways to prevent poisonings in children, adolescents and adults; 5.
