The nursing assistant is an important part in providing assistance to residents to enable them to function at the highest possible level. Restorative care programs are key in ensuring that residents are assessed and offered activities that benefit their well-being. This course will discuss safe transfers, mobility, and dining assistance.
Objectives

- Identify the proper procedures for various types of transfers.
- Discuss the use of lift devices and standing devices for transfers.
