DTY105 - Understanding the Long-Term Care Survey: Dietary Department (1.0 HR)

Purpose:  The purpose of this course is to help dietary department staff understand the survey process in long-term care facilities. Objectives: 1) Define a standard survey; 2) Be familiar with the other types of surveys; 3) Identify who conducts a survey; 4) Understand why a survey is needed; 5) Know what is an F Tag; 6) Be familiar with the 13 F Tags in dietary; 7) Understand what is a deficiency; 8) Be familiar with the scope and severity grid; 9) Understand what is a PoC.
