DTY105 - Understanding the Long-Term Care Survey: Dietary Department (1.0 HR)

The purpose of this course is to help food and nutrition services staff understand the survey process in long-term care facilities.

 

Objectives

After completion of this course, food and nutrition services staff will be able to:

  1. Define a standard survey.
  2. Recognize the other types of surveys.
  3. Explain why a survey is needed.
  4. Define F-Tag.
  5. Identify the F-Tags in the food and nutrition services department.
  6. Interpret the scope and severity grid
  7. Define PoC.
