SAF101 - Basic First Aid (1.5 HR)

Purpose: Health care personnel will learn the techniques of basic first aid. Objectives: 1. List the goals of first aid; 2. Explain basic first aid interventions for a variety of specific situations; 3. Discuss common medical emergencies and the appropriate care and response; 4. Explore first aid interventions appropriate to the site of the injury; 5.Discuss legal implications of providing first aid.
